1. What is Pilate's?

Pilate's is a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilate's in Germany. The program focuses on the core postural muscles which help keep the body balanced and which are essential to providing support for the spine. In particular, Pilate's exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, and aim to strengthen the deep torso muscles.

2. What is yoga?

Yoga refers to traditional physical and mental disciplines originating in India; to the goal achieved by those disciplines. Major branches of yoga include Raja Yoga, Karma Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, and Hatha Yoga.
The Sanskrit word yoga has many meanings, and is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj, meaning "to control", "to yoke" or "to unite". Translations include "joining", "uniting", "union". Outside India, the term yoga is typically associated with Hatha Yoga and its asanas (postures) or as a form of exercise. Yoga is a mind/body practice. It helps with calming the mind and body. Brings awareness to your breath, while you stretch, strengthen, and tone the body.

Core in Motion can help you strengthen your core, bring awareness to how you move your body. We stem from our core, meaning you enhance your awareness of your own bodies alignment. Your posture will improve. It will also help you achieve better results with all other physical activity that you do.
